A couple weekends ago, I had the pleasure of shooting Jessie and Bobby’s wedding in Union Bridge and Sykesville, Maryland. You might remember them from their awesome engagement session this past summer where I first discovered what a cute and creative couple Jessie and Bobby are. Their wedding was no different, with so many beautiful DIY details that Jessie put together (including making awesome hangers for all the girls bridal party dresses) and a ton of decorations for the reception. What was also so heartwarming to see was what close-knit family Jessie and Bobby have: her mother was her maid of honor and his father was his best man. Jessie’s mom even mentioned in her speech how Jessie is her best friend, which is about one of the sweetest mother-daughter things I’ve heard.
I had a wonderful time walking around with Jessie and Bobby after their wedding for their fun bridal portrait shoot in such a beautiful (and very Maryland) setting. This couple just lights up so much each time they are with each other and the love between them is effortless and so vivid. I wish them all the best happiness and blessings, especially as Bobby leaves in December in service for our country (a big thank you!). I know how important photography was to Jessie and Bobby for their wedding, so my hope is that I was able to meet their expectations with many happy memories of gorgeous day. Many thanks also to Karen Stysley, for being an awesome second shooter for this wedding!
