I first had the privilege of meeting Christina in 2004 when I was her teacher(!) at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville. Back then, I thought she was a sweet and kind girl who always had a pretty smile and was great to be around. Needless to say, I was so happy when Christina contacted me last year about shooting her wedding. Meeting up with her again was truly wonderful and I was so glad to see that the lovely girl I’d known had grown into an equally wonderful young woman (who happens to also be bombshellingly gorgeous!). It also made me smile to know that Christina had found love and happiness in Nathan, who is a sweet Louisiana southern gentleman. I had the great opportunity of working with both of them back in the fall for their engagement session in Historic Ellicott City and was so excited for the wedding at St. Joseph’s Monastery and Grey Rock Mansion last week.
Both venues are truly lovely hidden gems in Baltimore. St. Joseph’s Monastery is right outside of Catonsville in the city limits and spectacular in it’s cathedral-like architecture. Grey Rock Mansion, with it’s green sprawling lawns, historic appeal, beautiful ballroom (with creamy yellow walls…so pretty) is also tucked away, right off of Reisterstown Road. Both venues also proved to be wonderful places for Christina and Nathan’s big day, which was full of joy, love, and happiness — and cute details that I loved capturing. I wish them all the best!
