I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Annabelle. She is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. She didn’t stop working from 10:30am until the end of our reception at 11pm. She is very flexible and willing to work with you and your schedule. As you can see by her photos, she takes unique shots and, in my opinion, captures every moment perfectly. She has great ideas (she hung my wedding gown from a tree in our back yard…soo pretty) and knows how to take charge of a big group! (We had 18 people in our wedding party!) As far as the pictures she showcases on her website/blog — what you see is what you get. They are ALL that beautiful. My fiance and I have raved about Annabelle to all of our friends and family. With two weeks to our wedding, we can honestly say that she is our favorite vendor. We had the best time at our engagement shoot with her last May. It was one of the hottest evenings in the summer and we shot for over 4 1/2 hours. Annabelle would not leave until we had every shot we were hoping for. She even paddled out on a raft to get the “best angle” for our pier shot. Annabelle photographed our November 2011 wedding and choosing her was, by far, one of the best decisions we made. From our initial consultation, it was clear that she was not only capable of handling our event, but would also listen to us and work with us to get the shots we wanted. Color and composition were really important to us and our pictures look like they could be in a magazine. Baltimore is such a huge part of my husband’s and my life together and Annabelle managed to capture that with our outdoor shots, making them classic and fun. From the first meeting with Annabelle, we knew she had to be our wedding photographer. Immediately she gives off that warm, personable feeling and we knew she was going to do a fabulous job! Once we decided on an engagement session date it was such anticipation to finally work with her! We were so excited to bring her to the location we selected since she had never been there before. She woke up at the crack of dawn after being out all night the previous day to make sure we could get the best light! Annabelle is an incredibly talented and creative wedding photographer. She took both our engagement wedding pictures and in what seemed like record time, provided us with CDs of all our pictures. She has an assertive and calm personality, which was perfect for the pre-wedding photography planning and allowed her to be pretty inconspicuous on the day itself. In a nutshell, Annabelle is awesome. Choosing a photographer was one of the most important things to me when planning my wedding. Since I’m a think-outside-of-the-box type person with high standards for creativity, I assumed that choosing a wedding photographer was going to be near impossible. But the second I laid eyes on one of Annabelle’s wedding photos, I knew she would go above and beyond my high expectations. I mostly appreciate how real her photos are; Annabelle does a stellar job at staying true to her couples’ personalities, which is incredibly refreshing given how wedding photographers can traditionally be so cookie-cutter and bland. I also have to give her so much credit for her creativity too!! She’s always got the perfect idea for an innovative photo! Aside from her talent, she’s also a dream to work with; she’s always so positive, warm, and friendly. She even took a few minutes to give me an anti-stress pep talk about a week before my wedding! Everyone tells the bride and groom to cherish the moments of their wedding because they pass so quickly. With Annabelle as our photographer, my husband and I are able to re-live those special moments when we look at our photographs. I have always said, from the very beginning, that the memories and photographs were the most important part of my wedding. There’s something about Annabelle’s photos that take me back to that day – where I can relive our vows, dancing with my father… everything - all over again like I am right there in the original moment. Annabelle did that, and I really cannot thank her enough. All the guests and our family keep talking about the photos and how beautiful they all are. One of my bridesmaids saw the pictures and asked me, “Gosh Catherine. Did you and Josh just have Annabelle follow you around at the reception and stage gorgeous, cute moments!!?? Because there are so many perfect shots of you two!!” I told her I actually couldn’t keep track of Annabelle because she were running around like a little WonderWoman with jets on her shoes!! The two of them work so well together to get those perfect shots – whether that is leaning completely out over a back balcony to get my one “Must Have” overhead, fisheye lens photo, or braving the 200 year old attic of the school’s bell tower for my dream shots. I always thought that finding a photographer whom you can entrust to capture such important memories of your wedding would be the hardest part of the wedding planning process. Luckily, an innocent search for Baltimore area photographers led me to Annabelle’s site – I was immediately struck by the beautiful style of her pictures, the vibrant colors, candid and natural quality to so many shots, and how her photographs seemed to make it feel as if I were there for each shoot published on her blog. Annabelle was the first and only photographer my husband and I met with…and we knew then that she would be the best person to photograph both our engagement session and more importantly, our wedding!!!She has not let us down – from driving to our college 3 hours away to shoot our engagement pictures at the place we first met (even climbing up into a tree to get that perfect shot ha!) to being present from the moment I was getting ready until the end of our reception to document the whole wedding day in its entirety. More importantly, we both enjoyed working with Annabelle so much, and, in fact, all of my bridesmaids couldn’t stop raving about how fun she was to be around while getting ready.She captured perfectly what I always loved about her photos from the start; we have the perfect mix of candid, fun, emotional, classic, and creative shots from our wedding day. Jeremy and I had less than 6 months to plan our wedding so I made my sister do the research!
