Monday Musings and a weekend sneak peak

There is a reason God created Sunday as a day of rest.

As many wedding photographers will tell you, June is one of the busiest months of the year for us (that and October).  This weekend brought about 18 hours of shooting 2 weddings and an engagement session, so there was very little time to just relax!  I am just thankful that I have such awesome family, friends, and clients who make it all much more manageable. You all are the best.

So, this week you should see these lovely events posted, as well as a senior/family session from the tail end of last week.  Lots of new, fun images in four awesome locations. My car (Harriet) and I have been trucking around Maryland the last few days!

I’m also excited because I’m going to be picking up a Tink II this week.  In other words, I am getting another D700. (Yes, I name things.  Tink is my original D700 love). It’s been hard to find one recently, with Nikon’s inventory pretty drastically affected recently due to the tsunami.

Okay. There’s LOTS to edit, lots to email, lots to mail, and lots to print. In fact, I might tailor my phototip of the day tomorrow toward that general concept.  In the meantime, here is a sneak peak from this weekend of shooting…
