I’m going way back to 2013 on this one, but it’s for a good reason. As I was getting ready to blog Alli and Eric’s wedding session from this past August, I realized that their engagement session was one of those that didn’t end up getting blogged in 2013 since it was so close to my delivery date for Cora. It just so happened to be one of my favorite engagement sessions from 2013 so I decided to dust off the old hard drive and blog it before I put the wedding up!
I met up with Alli and Eric up at Lums Pond State Park in Delaware for their beautiful fall engagement shoot on a really gorgeous October afternoon. Lums Pond was particularly special to Alli and Eric, as it was where they got engaged. On their actual engagement day, it turned out to be pouring, so Eric forewent with the planned stroll and went ahead and proposed to Alli under a pavilion in the park — where we made sure to get some pictures. On their engagement shoot day, though, the weather could not have been more opposite. The sun and sky were perfect and I loved how easy it was to capture these two just being themselves (and really happy, at that!). Their wedding is up next!
