This is one engagement session where we truly waited for the perfect day.
Lisa and I had, unsuccessfully, been trying to plan for her engagement session with Nathanael since the beginning of May. Every single time we had a date, though, the skies would open up on us and pour down with rain and thunderstorms. Though I’m all for cute and fun rain shoots if the occasion calls for it, I prefer the weather to be nice and dry for engagements in general!
So we rescheduled (several times) and then, finally, we had this perfect day in June come along. Not too hot, not too cold, beautifully sunny…sighs of happiness.
So I finally got to meet up with Lisa and Nathanael and Lisa’s adorable son, Ryan, who came along for some pictures also. I loved getting to know them and walk around the beautiful grounds of Baker Park, where Nathanael spent his childhood romping around. Lisa and Nathanael actually met across the street from the area of the park where we started shooting and it was so sweet to hear about how Ryan introduced them. ;)
I had an absolutely fabulous time with them and can’t wait for their wedding in October! So, without further delay, here are a few shots from their session:
