Saturday was an absolutely spectacular day. Weather-wise, it couldn’t have been more perfect, which meant that I was sooo excited to meet up with Jessica and Colin to do their engagement shoot, which turned out to be one of my favorites shoots! We met up first at Sherwood Gardens in Baltimore (which, coincidentally, is not that easy to find for a directions-challenged person such as myself). It’s a beautiful tulip garden right off of Cold Spring Lane near Loyola — tucked away in the Guilford Community. The tulips were in full bloom, making for some beautiful and colorful backdrops to our first set of pictures.
Throughout the shoot, Jessica and Colin kept making each other laugh — which resulted in a lot of fun and playful pictures. We went on from the shoot to the Inner Harbor, where we strolled around the busy Harbor walks right near the bay…and then grabbed some Ritas! :) Ice cream is an awesome addition to engagement shoots. Jessica and Colin clearly love each other so much that this shoot was an absolute breeze — very organic and real. It happened a few times that I would put my camera down for a second and they would be hugging and cuddling or laughing and I would have to grab my camera quickly to capture those sweet and tender moments. I had an awesome time working with them and can’t wait for their wedding later this month!
