Last weekend, I met up with Jessie and Robert for their engagement session in Historic Ellicott City. This was quite a trip for Robert, who is a Marine currently stationed in North Carolina — and he drove up for the shoot! We luckily managed to get this shoot in before the crazy heat wave hit Maryland, so it was actually pretty nice walking around the town, finding all sorts of cool nooks and crannies to take pictures (which is one of the really fun things about Historic Ellicott City). Jessie and Robert also brought a lot of really fun props that we were able to incorporate into the shoot. I had fun time with the chalkboards at the end of the shoot — I told them to each write their favorite trait about the other…to see what they wrote, scroll down! :)
Jessie and Robert are such a cute couple and one of the best things about working with them is seeing how much they light up when they are looking at each other and hugging. They look so happily in love and are really sweet in the way they interact with each other. I can’t wait for their wedding in September!
