I love, love sunshine. We’ve experienced a dearth of it in Maryland recently, so every chance I’ve had to get out and shoot on a gorgeously sunny day has been really exciting for me. Sarah and Tim patiently waited for me for a sunshine-filled day for their engagement shoot and it was well worth the wait! Their pictures are filled with such a gorgeous glow of sun (and sunset) that I can’t tell you how much I love this set. And speaking of love…Sarah and Tim are a pretty awesome in-love couple, too.
One of the most exciting things for me is when I get the opportunity to work with couples who are referrals from some of my favorite former couples. There’s really such an exciting aspect of it, not only because there’s a familiarity that I feel with them but also because it’s really amazing to me to see the way things have branched out since I started doing weddings. I shot Tim’s cousin’s wedding back in 2010 so when Sarah and Tim contacted me about doing their wedding photography, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. They’re really such a lovely couple and I’m so excited for their wedding next year. We started the engagement shoot out in Goucher College (where they met) and then made our way over to the city to Sarah’s parent’s place (where Tim proposed). In fact, the porch you’ll see toward the end of this set is where Tim proposed, which is really sweet. :) Here are a few of my favorites; I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do!
