On what turned out to be one very rainy Saturday at the beginning of September, I headed up to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for Angie and Ferron’s wedding. You may remember Angie and Ferron from their engagement shoot last December — they were one of the few couples that braved cold temperatures for a winter shoot! Though the ceremony was initially supposed to take place outdoors near the famous battleground, Angie and Ferron decided to defer to Mother Nature and the ceremony was held in the cozy indoors of the the beautiful Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg — where their reception also took place. The cold and rain were quickly forgotten as their beautiful wedding — filled with so much warmth and love — unfolded.
It was such a lovely day and Angie and Ferron couldn’t have been more lovely. Their wedding was such a great reflection of who they are as individuals and as a couple and I loved how they incorporated so many details that spoke of their love of nature — it had such a fun, woodsy, and autumnal feel (and I don’t think there is any season more romantic than fall!). Angie and Ferron are both genuinely awesome people and I was really honored at being their wedding photographer and getting to work with them again. I wish them a long and happy marriage filled with love and joy — they are already off to an amazing start! :)
