One of the most lovely downtown Baltimore spots for a wedding can be found in the Belvedere, which also happens to house awesome spots like the Owl Bar and their very gorgeous views on the 13th Floor. It was fitting, then, that this should be the reception location of Andrea and Santo, who not only had a gorgeous wedding but also an absolutely lively and energetic crowd who showed the true loveliness of two groups of families and friends really becoming one. The day began at the astonishingly beautiful Basilica in Baltimore, where the Andrea and Santo held their wedding ceremony. Due to the crowd in Mount Vernon from the Baltimore Book Festival, we ended up exploring the grounds of the Basilica quite a bit for creative portraits, which was a lot of fun and included the guys suggesting we pay homage to the iconic cover of Abbey Road (which, as a huge Beatles fan, I jumped at!). :) Then, it was off to the Belvedere to pull in some of the amazing architecture of the place for bridal portraits!
I can’t tell you what a pleasure it was for me to work with Andrea and Santo, with whom I had the privilege of working last fall for their engagement shoot in Mount Vernon and Fed Hill. Andrea and Santo have such warm hearts and are truly kind and lovely people — a wonderful couple who compliment each other so beautifully. I also really loved getting to meet Andrea and Santo’s family, some of whom came long distances for the big day, and who were equally genuinely great and friendly people. Best wishes! :)
