I’m a little biased towards the subjects in this engagement shoot, because it features one of my favorite people — my good (gorgeous) friend, Kristen and her (very handsome) fiance, Donnie. Kristen and I had had an unusual start to our friendship — I was actually her teacher! :) When I was first out of college, I taught at Mount de Sales Academy, where I went to school, for a year — and Kristen was one of my students. She was one of my favorites even back then and would come to talk to me frequently during break time before her class with me — we found that we shared an affinity for celebrity gossip and she introduced me to a couple tv shows that I became hooked on. But even after I left that teaching position, Kristen continued to stay in touch with me. Through the years, she became one of my very closest friends and I had the privilege of watching her blossom from being a somewhat shy high schooler into a beautiful, poised and wonderful woman. She has been a stalwart friend throughout that time and was even a bridesmaid in my wedding a couple years ago.
A little over a year ago, Kristen told me of her own “Prince Charming”, aka, Donnie. Donnie is a sweet, kind, and thoughtful guy who makes Kristen extremely happy and they are adorable together. I could go on for a while about how great this couple is, but as I said in the beginning, I’m a little biased. So instead, I’ll show you some pictures from their AMAZING engagement session, which featured the absolutely most spectacularly breathtaking sunset I have ever seen in my life — and I’m not just saying that. It really was that incredible. And so are they.
